Shushan Harutyunyan serves as the Chief Communications Officer and is responsible for strategic communications and community development directions of the Galaxy Group of Companies. She leads government relations, media affairs, as well as relations with nonprofit and other key stakeholders to develop sustainable and collaborative projects for the well-being of the community.
Prior to her work at Galaxy, Shushan held various executive positions in Yerevan, Brussels, Warsaw and Budapest, including as the Communications Director at the Breavis management consultancy, Deputy Editor in Chief at the Forbes Armenia, and the Contributor at the Newsweek Poland, among others. Her professional portfolio includes change management, rebranding, implementation of policy and development projects both for public and private sectors.
Shushan holds an MA in Anthropology from Central European University, BA in Journalism from Yerevan State University and is also an alumnus of the Oxford University’s Center of Corporate Reputation, Saïd Business School (Executive Education). She is an adjunct professor in Corporate Communications at the Yerevan State University․Shushan co-authored “Studies in Biopolitics” book, published by CELAB (2011). She is also the author of “Nobody Steals It From You: You Give It For Free” book about data and privacy, published by Lambert Academic Publishing (2016).
