Customer Care Director, Ucom
  • Gurgen Hakobyan is the Customer Care Director at Ucom. He is responsible for the development and implementation of Customer Care vision, strategy, policy, processes, operations and initiatives for ensuring timely and qualitative customer service trough calls and digital support, inquiries and complaints proper handling, customer satisfaction and retention. Also oversees the execution of accounts receivables among other responsibilities.

    He has 17 years of experience in Telecommunications through working in Viva-MTS starting in Service Centers, then coordinating Retention, supervising the Contact Center, managing Customer Support and E-Commerce, during the final year contractually leading the entire Customer Service including Branches, Retail, Dealership network, Call Center, E-commerce, etc. Examples of completed projects are Contact Center system swap, Operational CRM development and Online shop deployment.

    By changing the industry in 2024 had worked as the Chief Customer Officer of Globbing by leading the Customer Service for 3 countries (Armenia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan).

    Gurgen Hakobyan graduated from Yerevan State University’s Faculty of Economics with a bachelor’s degree and then graduated from the same university’s Faculty of International Economics with a master’s degree.

    Gurgen Hakobyan also studied at the University of Liverpool, receiving a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration.

    Has been granted the Stanford Certified Project Manager’s (SCPM) professional credential by the Stanford Center for Professional Development, USA.
