Founders’ message

The modern human has aspirations way beyond the earth: dreams of changing the world, exploring and conquering new, uncharted territories. But while the sentiment is noble and the consequential endeavors momentous, here at Galaxy we believe in values strongly linked with our planet, a place we call home.

Carl Sagan’s famous quote on the Pale Blue Dot—very much symbolic for us in many regards—was a major source of inspiration for our company’s ideology and the values we strive to achieve and subsequently promote. “That’s here. That’s home. That’s us.” is conspicuously displayed on all our posters and promotional material, serving both as a reminder and an embodiment of what and, most importantly, for who we are working towards. An excerpt from the Pale Blue Dot reads,

“Look again at that dot. That’s here. That’s home. That’s us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every “superstar”, every “supreme leader”, every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there—on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.”

Galaxy Foundation is founded upon a set of beliefs and ideals—that is to serve its community, stimulate its development, ensure its well-being, and provide a stable future for the coming generations. Our purpose is grand, yet simple at the core. The foundation aims to contribute to the advancement of education, the improvement of social security, and systemic progress.

So whilst others entertain possibilities beyond their wildest imaginations, we are concerned with what’s at hand. We realize that ensuring a brighter future requires a substantial amount of work and we intend to be the first ones to act on it. We welcome any and all kinds of cooperation and joint projects that can advance our aims and contribute to our goals.

The change starts here on Earth, it always has, with the community we are part of presently. For we are nothing special unless the people surrounding us are too.
