This is the 5th year that Galaxy Group of Companies is organizing Galaxy Champions League futsal championship. The teams participating in 2025 are Cofix, Megafood, Ucom, PAUL, Galaxy Group, Prepa, TI’ME, and Yerevan Mall.
Ucom team won the challanging competition for the third time and became the cup winner. Last year’s champion – Megafood took second place, and TI’ME came in third.
Congratulating the winning team – Ucom, Aram Khachatryan, co-founder and CEO of Galaxy Group of Companies, said: “If we look back at the past four years of the championship, we can say that it started as a friendly gathering and sports entertainment. And to offer the best to our athletes, last year, together with my brothers Gurgen and Artyom, co-founders of Galaxy, we initiatd the Galaxy Champions League Honorary Cup. At Galaxy, they celebrate the victory of the family team, while the teams that didn’t place this year are already training with the hope of winning next year.
During the opening ceremony of the tournament, the Yerevan drums, Squad dance, and the popular Hayat Project band performed.
At the tournament, the 2024 winning team – Ucom, presented the trophy to Aram Khachatryan, co-founder and CEO of the Galaxy Group of Companies. The Galaxy Trophy is a unique piece of art, crafted by sculptor Terzo at the special request of the Galaxy founders — Gurgen Khachatryan, Artyom Khachatryan, and Aram Khachatryan. Each year, the trophy is awarded to the winning team, symbolizing the strength and unity that define the Galaxy community.
During the tournament’s closing ceremony, Arsen Samsonyan, recognized as the best goalkeeper with the most saves, and Narek Velitsyan, the tournament’s top striker, were honored. Both athletes proudly represent Team Ucom.

The participating teams were divided into two groups through a draw and competed in a round-robin format. Notably, the CEOs and the leadership often take to the field themselves, highlighting Galaxy Group’s belief that success can be achieved both in career and in sport.
Galaxy Champions League is held at the Gazprom Armenia sports and training complex, which meets international high standards. The tournament lasted for seven days, but the organizational activities began exactly a year in advance. The entire competition was officiated by the referee team led by Galik Balyan and Raffi Ghazaryan.
It should be noted that Ucom Team claimed Galaxy Champions League title in 2021 and again in 2024, while Megafood secured back-to-back victories in 2022 and 2023. The tournament was organized and branded by AxelMondrian.
