Lara A. Tcholakian, Ph.D., is the Human Resources Management Director at Ucom CJSC.
She is a visiting scholar at Vrije Universiteit (Amsterdam), INSEAD (France & Singapore), and Matena’s School of Leadership and Professional Development (Armenia).
Tcholakian’s academic research interests span a wide range of topics, all of which are crucial to the field of human resources and leadership. Her studies and publications delve into leadership, organizational management, collective traumas, systems psychodynamics, and mindfulness. She also shares her insights and findings through her role as the host of Mindful Leaders: Inherited Legacies on Civilnet.
For 20 years, Tcholakian held leadership positions in international non-governmental organizations and the corporate sector, including Viva-MTS, the Eurasia Partnership Foundation, the Canadian Center for Philanthropy, and World University Services of Canada, and has lived and worked in Canada, France, Peru, Sri Lanka, and in Armenia.
She holds a Doctorate in organizational behavior from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam’s School of Business and Economics, a Master’s Degree in socio-economic development from Université Paris 1 – Panthéon-Sorbonne, an Executive Master’s Degree from INSEAD, and a Bachelor’s Degree from McMaster University in Canada. She is married with three children.
