Sergey Kosakyan is the CEO of Technogym in Armenia, where he oversees the company’s daily business operations, including sales, service, and administration. He is responsible for developing and executing the company’s strategy in the local market, while monitoring financial performance, including revenue, profitability, and operational expenses.

His role also includes building, leading, and developing high-performing teams through recruitment, training, and performance management. Sergey maintains strong relationships with key clients and partners, ensures high standards of customer service and client experience, and leads negotiations for major business deals. In addition, he analyzes market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities, while coordinating closely with headquarters to ensure alignment with global corporate standards and strategic objectives.

Previously, Sergey served as Head of the Service Department, where he managed service operations, quality standards, and customer support processes. He also gained academic and analytical experience as a Research Assistant at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD), contributing to research initiatives within an international academic environment.

Sergey Kosakyan holds an MSc in Management from Russian-Armenian University. He also earned a BSc in Tourism and Public Service with honors from the same university, building a strong academic foundation in management, tourism, and business operations.

In addition to his professional background, Sergey has academic and research experience, including a publication in the International Scientific Journal Modern School of Russia: Issues of Modernization. His research work, titled “The Importance of MSMEs and Labor Market for the Cluster Formation of Armenian T&T Sector”, explored the impact of small and medium-sized enterprises and labor market dynamics on the development of Armenia’s tourism and travel sector.
