One of the most influential historians and philosophers of the 21st century, Yuval Noah Harari’s book Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind has been translated into Armenian. Aram Khachatryan, the cofounder and CEO of Galaxy Group of Companies joins Armenia TV on air to share his perspective on why this project is so important for Galaxy Group and why the company took the commitment to partner with Newmag for the translation of Harari’s trilogy.

In his interview, Aram Khachatryan discusses the transformations of the labor market, from the industrial revolution of the 18th century to the present day, noting the growing influence of digital technologies on our lives. He highlights the role of high quality education, mentioning the need for building capabilities of the four Cs (Creativity, Critical Thinking, Communication, and Collaboration) for human development. From a business perspective, Khachatryan says that only the companies that are armed with automated systems will be able to overcome the present challenges.

According to him, Harari’s “Sapiens. A Brief History of Humankind” book is unique in a way of presenting the history of mankind in a systemized way, regardless of racial or religious differences.
